MANILA (XFN-ASIA) - Berong Nickel Corp’s exports of wet nickel laterite since the start of the year have reached 350,000 metric tonnes, a company executive said.

‘We have made seven trial shipments averaging 50,000 metric tonnes since the start of the year,’ Ramon Antonio Flores, resource development manager of Berong Nickel, told reporters. He did not disclose the total value of the shipments.

‘By the end of the year, we expect to have shipped out a total of 1 mln tonnes,’ he said.

Berong Nickel is the joint venture unit of Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corp (other-otc: ACMBB.PK - news - people ), London-based Toledo Mining Corp and Investika Ltd of Australia.
