Philex copper, gold output up

Philex Mining Corp. said it produced P1.06 billion worth of copper, gold and silver from its mines in Benguet province in July, up slightly from P1.04 billion worth in June.
It told the stock exchange that its production reached 1.82 million kilograms of copper, 395,016 kg of gold and 373,897 grams of silver.
t said that on Aug. 5 it shipped an initial P760 million worth of metals — 2.8 million pounds of copper and 9,000 ounces of gold.
