While non-government organization Oxfam Australia has written a report claiming community-dialogue processes haven’t been properly undertaken at the Didipio gold-copper development project in the Philippines, OceanaGold [ASX:OGC; TSX:OGC] has rejected the claims outright and warns it is reviewing its options for “legal redress.”
OceanaGold, a relatively recent addition to the Toronto Stock Exchange’s ranks, said it hoped to begin production of gold and copper concentrate at Didipio in the first half of 2009.
