Lafayette production rise

Lafayette mines more metal amid restructuring Lafayette Mining Ltd which has faced typhoons, cyanide spills and crippling hedging losses at its mine in the Philippines, on Wednesday reported a rise in metal production.
Output increased 12% in the September quarter over the previous quarter to 1,726 equivalent t of copper, including 878 t of copper, 1,705 t of zinc, 1,522 oz of gold and 38,525oz of silver, the company said.
