Gold miner OceanaGold is looking for further acquisitions in Australasia, where the company believes gold projects are undervalued.
OceanaGold is using its three New Zealand gold mines - Macraes mine and the neighbouring Frasers underground mine near Dunedin, and Reefton - producing about 300,000 ounces a year as its foundation to expand in the region.
