Toledo copper mine to start commercial production

MANILA, Philippines—Publicly listed Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corp. said Friday it expected to start commercial production at its copper mine in Toledo City, in Cebu province, next month and process 20,000 metric tons of ore daily.
It reported at its annual meeting of stockholders that it had begun commissioning restored process facilities and equipment to prepare for production. Rehabilitation of the facilities had started in September and was 95 percent completed as of June 30, it said.
