MANILA, Sep 19, 2008 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) — BENGF | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating — Philippines’ mining concern Benguet Corp. (BC.PH) is reasonably confident that it will be developing a gold processing plant next year in Benguet province in the country’s north, company president and chief executive Philip Romualdez said Friday.

The company is currently undertaking a final feasibility study on the project, which is expected to be completed before the end of the year, Romualdez said.
