Philex affiliate to drill 2nd well in Vietnam

MANILA - An affiliate of Philex Mining Corp., the Philippines’ largest copper and gold mining firm, is set to drill a second well in its oil and gas field in Vietnam.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Thursday, Philex afflilate Pitkin Petroleum Plc. reported that it has completed a 3D seismic survey on Block 07/03 in offshore Vietnam “to define the resource potential of the discovery and that of adjacent structures.”
