Atlas completes first copper shipment for 2010

MANILA, Philippines - Publicly listed Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corp. announced on Monday that its subsidiary has just completed its first shipment of copper concentrates from its Toledo mine in Cebu City for the year 2010.
In a statement to the Philippine Stock Exchange, Atlas said Carmen Copper Corp. has shipped a total of 5,545.834 wet metric tons (wmt) of copper concentrates to Jiangxi Copper Co. Ltd. in Nanjing, China. Preliminary assay indicates that the concentrates contain 28.16% copper, 3.41 grams gold/dry metric ton (dmt), and 26.01 grams silver/dmt.
