Philex Mining profits dip despite rise in metal prices

Rising metal prices failed to offset the lower volume of minerals shipped by listed Philex Mining Corp., which posted lower profits last year.
In a statement on Monday, the country’s largest miner said net income slid by 2.14 percent to P2.74 billion last year.
