Mining firm joins nat’l greening program

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, April 4 (PIA)—OceanaGold Philippines, Inc.(OGPI) an Australian mining firm in Kasibu town here recently joined President Benigno Simeon Aquino’s National Greening Program(NGP).
OGPI, holder of a Financial and Technical Assistance Agreement (FTAA) for its gold and copper project in barangay Didipio in Kasibu town was the first private company in Cagayan Valley region to respond on the NGP which was created by virtue of an Executive Order dated February 24, 2011.
