Medusa announces board, management reshuffle

Philippines-focused gold producer and star share market performer Medusa Mining has announced a reshuffle of its board and senior management ranks following its decision to delist from the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Geoff Davis, who has led the company from its inception in 2002, will stand down as managing director and take up the role of non-executive chairman.

The company’s existing chairman and non-executive director, Canada-based Peter Jones, will stand down.

Medusa’s executive director of operations, Peter Hepburn-Brown, has been appointed managing director.

And finance director and joint company secretary Roy Daniel will step down from the board to become chief financial officer.

“The restructured board will be well positioned to oversee the next phase of the company’s growth and development,” Medusa said in a statement.
