Philippines Stocks: Atlas, Lepanto, Manila Electric, Philex

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Philippine trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the noon close in Manila.
The Philippine Stock Exchange Index fell 0.6 percent to 4,480.01, snapping a six-day rally.
Gold producers: Lepanto Consolidated Mining (LC) Co.’s Class B shares (LCB PM), which have no ownership restrictions, sank 5.3 percent to 1.25 pesos, the sharpest loss since June 13, on speculation prices of the precious metal may slide. Atlas Consolidated Mining & Development (AT) Corp fell 1.8 percent to 24.40 pesos, snapping a two-day, 7.1 percent rally.
